After a long hiatus due to Covid 19, Holy Grail Games is back at Essen Spiel this year! We’ll have our biggest booth ever, with all of our latest releases and upcoming projects on show.

Encyclopedia

After a very successful Kickstarter campaign in March this year, Encyclopedia is set to arrive in stores for late October. It will be available for demo and pre-order at Essen!

This gorgeous dice placement game about creating Buffon’s Encyclopedia of natural history was designed by Eric Dubus and Olivier Melison, the creators of Museum and Dominations: Road to Civilization.

Copan: Dying City

Copan: Dying City is our next crowdfunding campaign, coming to Kickstarter at the end of October.

In this heavy euro with worker placement mechanics, you take on the role of noble families of the Maya city of Copan, seeking to increase your influence and wealth.But dark times lie ahead for Copan. As you work to secure your legacy over generations, you’ll have to face the city’s slow decline. Your progress will be hindered by dwindling resources, crumbling political structure, natural disasters and war.

With a fascinating reverse difficulty curve that makes the game progressively harder as you play, Copan is a unique worker placement game that you definitely need to see at Essen this year!

Rallyman: Dirt

After long production delays due to Covid 19, Rallyman: DIRT is now on its way to our Kickstarter backers, and will arrive in retail early 2023. Rallyman: DIRT is the rally racing sequel to our award-winning roll and move racing game Rallyman: GT. It will be available for demo at Essen!

Tiles of the Arabian Nights

Our unique storytelling adventure game, Tiles of the Arabian Nights, will be available for demo at Essen this year too. It funded on Gamefound last year and is set to deliver to our backers late this year.

Museum: Pictura

Museum: Pictura, our art-themed set collection game and sequel to the award-winning Museum by Eric Dubus and Olivier Melison, was released earlier this year. It will be available for full demo and will also be on sale!

Rallyman: GT

After selling out worldwide, a reprint of the full Rallyman: GT range is coming to stores in October! The game will be available for purchase and demo at Essen. 

Caesar’s Empire

Caesar’s Empire, our award-winning road-building game set in the world of Asterix and Obelix, sold out very quickly after its first release in December. A new print run has just arrived in stores, and the game will be available for demo and purchase at Essen this year!
